From what I understand her label was basically holding her hostage. I don't know how it was resolved but it was quite recently and she's been able to make music again. Or, rather, actually take her music public. Over the years I guess she's performed live but her label wasn't releasing anything of hers, even though she had at least one whole album done (I THINK).

Girl has NOT aged in the past decade. Sorcery!
