I hope Supergirl improves because I want to see more female superheroes getting some love. I feel the same way about Superman so at first I wasn't going to watch this, but I tried it and it's entertaining enough to keep going for now. I hope her friend either becomes less annoying or we see less of him, and that she and James end up together if anybody.
Yeah, I have reservations on Supergirl just from the trailer alone? I mean, it is just the trailer and it is Supergirl, so by virtue of the fact that hey female super heroes who aren't all gritty and dark is fine by me. But it...just seems kind of awkward? Also male coworker who's all 'oh you're gay ofc that's why you must not like me' which...really?
I was kind of worried about how Lucifer would turn out, since it looked like they really dialed up the snark, over the topness and dropped the Machiavellian/Milton aspects of Lucifer to make it more approachable for network TV? Which is kind of a shame, because the source material is there and takes the same premise and does a lot better with it (mostly).

Yes.
The ex-husband is so rote and stereotypical it's pathetic.
He really is.
I thought Minority Report was fun, but the weakest pilot. That said the Abbie Mills character + out of place male formula worked for Fox one time...
I plan to check out Damien too. I liked the Omen (just the first one though) & Bradley James so maybe I'll like the show?
