All I can think right now is how lucky I am. Lucky to be the race I am, the nationality, to live where I do and to have a good job with benefits. I have free healthcare, a roof over my head and a freezer full of food that I often look into and then whine, "There's nothing to eat

This. It makes me feel so frustrated that there's literally nothing substantial I can do, that I have to see this happening in the world and accept that this is how it is at this moment. It's horrible.
