The Meme:
Pick a date in January. Pick a topic. On the date you choose I will post something about that topic. It can be fandom-related or it can branch into hobbies, books, places, objects, academic matters, cats, beverages, whatever you want. If a topic is uncomfortable for me (very personal or potentially identifying) or simply something I don't know a thing about (unfamiliar canon, say), I may ask you to make a second choice. If you want to request more than one topic, pick a different day for each.

I'm working on the Advent things, have a few more to do. Christmas didn't allow me as much time as I hoped to get them done but I've made progress so I'm hoping that by the weekend I'll have the rest to post.
Been a weird few days with the holidays screwing up my understanding of how a week works. Slept too late/much over the weekend, been feeling a bit melancholy.
Found out my best friend's dad died on Christmas Eve, sent flowers to his mom. Nice man. Good man.
A's last day is tomorrow. The new year is bringing new changes and while I'm not upset over what's happening come I'm also feeling a bit dispassionate about work right now. I think part of it is the lack of control I have over the situation and part how lethargic and tired I feel right now. I need to get back into a healthier routine, eat better and get back to the gym. Earlier this month I allowed myself the rest of December to slack off, guilt-free. I don't want to make a resolution about this but January is a fresh start and I did so well last year so I'm looking forward to the same success again.
In the immediate future I have Teen Wolf to look forward to so that will help my posting and give me something to be passionate over. And NYC in May for a longer-term goal.
So here we go, to a bigger, brighter tomorrow and beyond.
