I got sucked in.

Flipping through the TV channels today, I stopped at an info-mercial for yet another product guaranteeing users to lose weight. I watched it for a little bit, and waited till they decided to unload the price.  Surprisingly, its only going to cost me $50. What I am talking about is The Bean. Its a new take on that big exercise ball thingy. What ( Read more... )

The problem is, you can do crunches on the bean until the cows comes home, but it won't matter until you do lots and lots of cardio. You'd be better off using the bean for upper body strength training too. Invest $15 in some dumbbells.

I'm having trouble finding a place to do cardio now too. I'm sick of my gazelle, and the UNCA gym is only open from like 12-5pm over the summer. I bought a jump rope- it's actually kind of fun, and after about 10 minutes you feel like you've had a real workout.

yeah... I have some dumbbells somewhere... I seriously do not even know where I would jump rope... outside during the day is hot hot hot plus I am working all day and I think if I jumped rope at night I might get cursed at or something lol. And as far as cardio... that's gonna be a stretch. I might need to get some DVDs or something

okay, so, there should be no excuse why you can't exercise. plain and simple. there's always a way, regardless of heat outside or time or where you live. you have room in your back yard to do a jump rope or something, and even if it's hot as shit, as long as you stay hydrated, everything will be straight. the heat will help to loosen your muscles so you won't pull anything, or have some weird exercising accident. i used to make up excuses all day long why i couldn't exercise, but you can always find time. even if it's doing some free weights a few times a week. there's no excuse not to be healthy. but it's good that you got that ball thing! and anything that doubles as a sex toy, well, that speaks for itself. hehe. good luck.
