All is well
It's a nice bright sunny day. It's supposed to get up to 90 again today. We're right back to the normal.
We ended up losing power for about 2 1/2 hours yesterday afternoon. I think there is some power out still around. Most of the worst damage is south of here.
We are all thankful and it seems we've dodged a bullet. -
Update 10:21 am Saturday
It's raining. Winds are around 30 MPH. The lights are trying to blink occasionally, but we've not lost power YET.

Getting ready for Rita
We're all battening down the hatches and welcoming family member fleeing Rita. It is only expected to be a Category 1 by the time it comes this far inland..but what we usually get are tornados. Hopefully things will be fine. We are hoping for the best and preparing for the worst.
