[It's not obvious, but Rizelle's in the hallway of the seventh floor. Her blood-strewn fingers have elongated into knife-like apprendages to better fight off the ghouls, which makes holding the communicator just a tiny bit difficult; scratch that, the camera's constantly slipping through her fingers since she can't grip very well without slicing

[He's shocked himself, seeing her like that. Rizelle's always seemed pretty unshakable to him.]

No, I'm-- I was looking for Juudaime. I--

[Rizelle just...blinks at the camera. It takes her a few minutes to finally stop staring blankly at the little lens of the communicator, and as an answer, she turns the camera around slowly so that Gokudera can see her surroundings. It's not much to go by, honestly. Rizelle apparently ducked into some unused room with a sunken floor and a punched-out window. The huge gash marks that she made fighting the ghoul are all over the walls, though. And in the corner...yeah, that's what's left of the ghoul.]

[And then, almost as an afterthought...] ...The seventh floor.

[Kuukaku totally hasn't kept to herself for a week or so since Gokudera and the cannon so... Don't be mad at her, bestie.]

[Rizelle gives Kuukaku the same response that she gave to Gokudera. She slowly turns the camera around to pan across the room that she's jumped into. It's got a sunken floor and gashes on the walls from when Rizelle was fighting the ghoul. The mangled remains of the same ghoul are in the farthest corner, like Rizelle doesn't want to be any closer to it than she needs to be. She turns the camera around after a second look around and shows Kuukaku her wounds: the long gash from her chest down and the bleeding bite mark on her head. Her eyes are still horribly dead.]

I'm on the seventh floor.

[Stango has been alternating periods of numbness and terror--he's transitioning from the latter to the former now, having run out of energy for his mad flight somewhere on the seventh floor.

He hasn't managed to coax any silver bullets out of the closets, so he's making do with his own ammunition, to little effect; when desperate, he has resorted to simply crashing through the ghouls at unnaturally high speeds, sending them toppling aside like bowling pins. It's left him with a few nasty cuts, but otherwise unharmed.

But now one of the ghouls is for him, shuffling along at a surprising rate despite the cast encasing one of its legs. In its moaning voice, it accuses him of abandonment, of suspicion, even of cruelty.

He ducks around the corner into the hallway occupied by Rizelle, emptying the full clip of his gun into the ghoul following him.]

Shut it, Meltzer, goddamn you!

[He glances over his shoulder to be sure he's not going to trip, and--

Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. What the hell is that?!He just caught sight of the giant

[Were this any other day, Rizelle would probably have some choice words for him and maybe a cut or two for trying to pull a gun on her, but as it is, she's still too out of it to react to anything quickly right now. She does eventually realize that someone's standing in the room with her, and she turns to look at him, her eyes empty.]

[She tries to say something, but the words die on her lips the first time.] ...You're running too?

[The terror slowly fades from his eyes as he stares at her, in part because she hasn't attacked him, in part because she's speaking to him, but mostly because there comes a point where he simply doesn't have the energy to be afraid anymore.]

Yeah. Got a...former client comin' down the hall. Christ.

...I...I see. [Rizelle's starting to talk louder and louder after the initial shock has worn off, but she's still not altogether there.]

[Her eyes move back to the cut-up ghoul in the corner and then away again. She can't bear to look too long at what she did to the Aion-ghoul, even though some small, rational part of her is insisting that this thing and he are not the same.]
