Part 2 - Sam came around slowly, uncertain where he was.
Part 3 - The Gaffer frowned at Sam’s empty place at the table.
Part 4 - Sam did not so much pass the night as endure it.
Part 5 - Sam came to consciousness slowly.
Part 6 - Sam awoke with a start.
Part 7 - A crack of thunder roused him.
Part 8 - Frodo rose late on Hensday.
Part 9 - Frodo made good speed towards the gate ...
Part 10 - Now that help was well and truly on its way...
Part 11 - Frodo lay there, holding Sam in his arms...
Part 12 - Frodo felt a little rush of excitement.
Part 13 - The wagon hit another bump...
Part 14 - Ted pulled up alongside Bag End’s gate.
Part 15 - Bath materials and dirty clothes in hand, Frodo rushed...
Part 16 - Frodo felt slightly faint.
Part 17 - Frodo returned to the bedroom to find the mood considerably calmer.
Part 18 - Will joined the luncheon party not long after everyone sat down.
Part 19 - Frodo entered the room to find Marigold in much the same position...
Part 20 - As the night wore on, Sam drifted into a dream world.
Part 21 - Frodo hurried down the hall in something of a flutter.
Part 22 - Dr. Brockhouse arrived later that afternoon.
Part 23 - Day passed into dusk more quickly than Frodo could have credited.
Part 24 - Dusk passed into deep night.
Part 25 - Sam felt himself revolving slowly, dizzily, to an uncertain stop.
Part 26 - Marigold shook her head at all the excitement, then softly closed the door.
Part 27 - Voices floated over him.
Part 28 - Tom pulled a chair round to sit near Sam's pillow on the side nearest the door.
Part 29 - The Cottons went off about half six, leaving Bag End and its grounds in such good order that Frodo felt more superfluous than ever.
Part 30 - The next weeks were to teach Sam many new things.
Part 31 - Sam was discouraged by how much his leg ached the evening after his adventure.
Part 32 - Frodo was nervous as he guided Sam out the back door.
Part 33: Conclusion - Sam's heart beat a little faster as he and his master finally left the road that had followed The Water halfway to Little Delving.
