Hey, no worries. I'm still not used to people recognizing me so I just went blush anyway.

We did manage to cancel the dinner order.

It was very nice to meet you!

Oh, good. I feel much better about the dinner thing then. I will still try to buy drinks for everyone.

And it was great to meet you! (Also you and everyone else at that table won my father's rare approval of con attendees, so, kudos :) ).

I also may possibly have invested in an UTTERLY AWESOME TEDDY BEAR that is HUGGING A LITTLE DINOSAUR and GETTING READY TO EAT IT.

I heartily approve.

:: looks around guiltily for Tor.com folk ::

Not one of the science fiction ones, which is why I'm not sure if I'm going to be allowed to sneak it in. They've been very generous but they do have a focus.

I asked because I recently reread A Small Rain and A Severed Wasp (they were ones I reread quite a bit as a young person despite them being for adults, but had not touched in a long time) and was hoping it might be one of those, esp. if you were going to write a bit about disability in either of them--they are crying out for that in a big way (not that others of hers are not also crying out for that).

Let's try answering this again, and LIVEJOURNAL, STOP LOGGING ME OUT WHEN I AM TRYING TO ANSWER COMMENTS ON MY OWN JOURNAL. While I'm at it, NO ONE should be seeing ANY ADS on this journal while leaving comments. That's why it's a paid account.

Er. Sorry. Nothing to do with your comment! Moving on to my original response:

Hmm. Those weren't the two I had in mind, but A Severed Wasp is connected to the Austin books, so I think I may be able to squeeze that one in. I haven't read it for years. And our local library seems to have it (it's not in my personal collection.) Anyway I can at least try
