Finding Ethel Merman

So our local library has a pretty cool system called Freegal which allows you to download three - exactly three - songs per week, DRM-free. This is awesome, but equally awesome is the completely incomprehensible search function. It works something like this ( Read more... )

I actually am now secretly hoping that her next album will just be Ethel Merman covers.

On a related note, since I forgot to mention this in the post, but meant to, I just have the Carol Channing cover of "Hello Dolly" not the Ethel Merman one. I was satisfied with this for a long time (especially because I have it for purely sentimental reasons) but now I am beginning to think that someone is Trying To Tell Me Something.
