Part one of the catching up on blogging begins, as I finally work out how to get my trip notes off the iTouch and more or less into the temporary and overworked netbook computer. Grr

I wonder how many items in the Corvette museum are pieces donated or loaned from the Malcolm Konner estate. At one point, the Malcolm Konner dealership in Paramus, NJ was the world's largest corvette dealership. Two stories tall, with an attached garage, and a lot of really neat old Vettes, including an Indy pace car vette.
I always hoped, growing up, that they'd give me a 1986 Malcolm Konner special edition Vette for my sixteenth birthday, but alas, that did not happen.
(Oh yeah, I should mention that he was my great uncle.)
...I didn't remember that there were only fifty made. They did a thing where everyone who bought one picked them up at the factory and road tripped together though. It was kinda spiffy.
