So for Father's Day, we headed out to Downtown Disney to see Robin Hood, picking that theatre since it offered the only showing of that film that was a) not on during the Italy World Cup game, b) not on during the U.S. Open in golf, and c) not adjacent to a parking lot filled with happy Harry Potter fans. By such restrictions are our decisions

This was FABULOUS! I actually kind of wanted to watch the film for Doyle's cameo, but since there's no way it can be more entertaining than your recap was, I shall endeavour to find the appropriate clips on Youtube.

Also, GBS has a new album coming out in July, so hopefully those songs will be on there?

The funny thing is, I might have bought the soundtrack if the GBS songs had been on it, but according to iTunes, not so, so leaving out the songs cost them at least one sale.

I'll check the album when it comes out, though.

I think Ridley Scott's "vision" has cataracts. Eesh!

His vision here seemed to be mostly, "Raise the death count!" Which to be fair is not that much different than his vision in Aliens.

Oh, I enjoyed this - it wasn't nearly as painful as most of the films I snark.
