As it turned out, the greatest threat to my personal and mental security turned out to be a lone man on a tractor who decided to drive into the Reflecting Pool on Monday and threaten to blow up the Washington Monument. Before any of you anti-war protestors start to cheer him on, I should note that he was not, in fact, protesting the war at all;
