Frozen

And continuing in the spirit of the season -- Frozen! Which I actually saw a couple weekends back, but forgot to post about. Anyway.

Oh come on they both have snow AND they both have slivers of ice in the heart that need to be healed AND there is a REINDEER in both! They're basically identical!

The "Let It Go" number was, I think, the highlight of the film. The other songs were cute enough but that was the emotional highlight one.

The snowman was much cuter than the trailers had suggested he would be, though I liked the reindeer more.

I did like the twist at the end where true love was not Some Day My Prince Will Come love.

There is definitely no little robber girl. There is sorta a quest for the Snow Queen, but it's for different reasons and designed to be an eventual Magic Kingdom ride or Blizzard Beach water slide or both.

I haven't seen Frozen yet, but I do think it's strange how Disney promotes their princesses so much, yet totally ignores Eilonwy and Kida. I guess it's because they don't sing.
