I didn't mention it in the post, but one thing I'm noticing in this Dahl reread is how some bits of his books make me feel like a little kid again (the hell in a handbasket joke in Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, or the chocolate river in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) and some bits

I left my glasses at home by accident at lunch. I could have sworn the title of this post was "The Twats." Not sure what Roald Dahl was writing about, but I wouldn't put it past him.
