Your garden sounds amazing. I have one small flower box, and it's enough of a challenge to keep it alive!

It's slowly getting to the amazing stage. I'm figuring in three to four years it might hit that stage.

Not everything is going great -- the roses are pretty scraggly and I'd be happier if the bougainvillea in front of my bedroom window would grow more -- although given that the windows are getting replaced in a couple of weeks I suppose it's just as well that the window isn't blocked just now :)

But I have hopes for the little "secret garden" thing in the back, where I need to put a chair, and I'm hoping to get some little tables to put the bonsai on and some more hanging things -- my brother put up a hanging thing for bird feeders which looks pretty cool. We probably won't get too many birds again until the winter, but we'll see.

The firebushes do seem to attract butterflies, though, which is a plus.

I love passionfruit (when I first discovered it, I said :I'm passionate about passionfruit!)

If we have some ripe ones on Monday and if I remember I can bring them if you'd like. My brother would actually be thrilled by this thought.

This all sounds so beautiful.

And who can blame the squirrels, really, for having such excellent taste.

It's not beautiful yet. But it might be getting there. Once stuff grows out and up, and I get the little tables and stuff out, it might be.
