man, i LOVE nan goldin. i am so annoyed with myself that the photo she will see a) is lame b) is scanned badly.
it's the one of the little girls looking through a window in an indian village.

nan is pretty great. i think i sort of like sally mann better, but i also just have a crush on her from hearing her speak.

at least that photo involves a figure, lots of yellow/green, and something bittersweet. all things nan seems to like in her own work.
