Belated Birthday!! I can't believe I missed this, but better late than never, right? ;)
Well, Shannan needs to display her b-day on her user page *nudge, nudge* so that the rest of her flist will know her big day is upcoming next year. puddleduck3 didn't have it displayed either but guess who got her to fix that problem? ;) :p
It's actually like that on purpose. A privacy thing. More to pacify my parents than for me. I guess people could easily find out by looking at unlocked friends posts, but that's why I always try to lock my gbps.
Oh, I appreciate why however, it's not like your birth year needs to be visible so nothing is really "given away".
I hadn't locked gbps in the past (for the most part) but I recently started doing it if for nothing else but to avoid a recent open post to lurkers (like I'm sure *anyone* watches my LJ anyway. If they did, they'd be snoring away by now). ;-) *zzzzzzzzzzzz* lol
