theseasonwheel's winter round was about close vs. far and the different aspects this opposition can take. It was a lot of fun to make these icons, especially since I chose the hard mode and had to play around with weather representations a lot, which is a lot harder than you'd think.

Wow, there are some beautifully haunting icons in this batch. To start with close. I absolutely love the close ups and cropping of it in 2, 3 and 10 in particular. And the colouring and whole feel to 4 is beautiful, for some reason you really make that colouring work. Absolutely beautiful. I also love the softness to the lighting in the far icons 1 and 8. Beautiful and haunting. The softness of the rain in 7 also really works.
