Still drawing

Wow, has it really been over four months since I've made an art post? It's not that I stopped drawing, it's that between work and travel and more work I haven't had a lot of free time. But I did manage a few bits of fanart, so in my usual fashion, I'm going to post them and ramble about them behind the cut.

Ooh, good details on these, like the way Tony's right foot is propped on his toes, and the overlap of Black Widow's fingers, and Misty's clothing folds! I'm a non-artist so watching your process makes me particularly happy. ^_^

Thank you! I was inordinately pleased to find a stock photo on Deviantart of a girl not only jumping in the proper Black Widow pose, but actually holding a gun while she did it! So that I could have something to look at when I drew her fingers!

Given that I have no natural drawing ability whatsoever, it's been an interesting experiment to see how far I can get on practice, youtube tutorials, and a shitload of reference photos.

Yeah, sorry about that. I've been completely swamped with work -- finishing one project, starting another, and also preparing to give a talk at a major conference in Hawaii at the end of the month. So I've basically given up on having a social life until early March. But we need to get together once I'm back from Hawaii.
