I like to listen to music when I run, so I was very pleased when Apple finally released the iPhone upgrade that allowed multitasking, which meant I could listen to Pandora and still run my Runmeter app at the same time. I TOTALLY know this problem! I adore swing dancing more than anything, so I often actually do start dancing instead of walking. One memorable time, I even spent an entire subway ride in New York dancing with one of the standing poles and my iPod (it was my birthday, and I'd just left the Frim Fram Jam to meet my friends at a bar; I was in a GREAT mood).
Have you ever been swing dancing? I bet you could find a place near you fairly easily; college towns tend to have a pretty good scene. And it's REALLY FUN. You can call it fic research! ;)
