Some of you may remember that I mentioned having an half-baked idea for a paranormal romance, I went so far as posting here a snippet of the beginning. I think I wrote about 400 words in all, the story didn't let me be but something was off and the words weren't right.

Last week I thought of some changes, and the pieces of the puzzle started coming

It's fun, isn't it? I just had a character come alive on me yesterday. At that point I realised that whatever situation I threw at him, the result would either be hilarious or tragic, and from then on it was simply a case of choosing what order to throw things at him.

Yes, and interesting, as in the spurious Chinese saying 'May you live in interesting times'. ;-)
Your new character sounds great fun, it's somewhat unsettling suddenly starting to share brainspace with someone else isn't it?

Today school started here, I was worried about the number of requests I'd be getting from schools with newly arrived Chinese students. Luckily it seems to be a big year for Romanians instead.
