Dress shopping = purgatory

I think I've determined that purgatory is one big wedding dress shopping trip, with each dress a bit heavier than the first. You try on dress after dress, each one looking "nice, but...", and yet you persevere, because you just know, somehow, that the dream dress is there, somewhere

Mike and I are starting to get details like that worked out. The invitations are going to be his project, since he designs that sort of thing for work. We are going to put them together ourselves, probably, with help from friends. A new trend in the USA is the "Invitation Party", where friends and family come over to put together invitations and write the addresses on them, so you aren't doing such a big job by yourself. You have snacks and music and it's just a fun relaxed get-together. We'll probably have some friends over for one of those when we want to put them together.
