One note, though - straddling a hog-tied person while they're on their back is (I believe) extremely painful if not outright impossible. Reading about it brought me right out of the story as I tried to figure out both how Sherlock could be bent quite that much and how he wasn't howling in agony, not ecstasy.

Been there. But I'm naturally quite bendy so I suppose I made Sherlock that way too...I read a bunch where he could suck himself off which to me seemed impossible.
