Two days ago I started watching Utena! Yes, the anime. Utena the revolutionary girl. (Or fillette in French, but she's not a little girl at all.) I cannot see the revolution anywhere. (yet?) mm, this sounds like an interesting anime. (I need to start watching anime again. I need to do a lot of things once my brother leaves for Athens :-P) Don't know whether I'll be able to like the designs, though, if they're as old as you say.

Utena is a goddess. period. >w<
and srsly it may look simple in the beginning but it just keeps getting more and more interesting and adding stuff!
about the symbolism now, there are actually entire forums dedicated to Shoujo Kakumei Utena and its analysis exclusively :pp

aw c'mon... Mickey is a pretty shota-ish bishounen... of course he'd have a female seiyuu XD i'd be honestly surprised if it wasn't so.. :p

oh yes, do keep watching! the first episodes are kinda filler-y but help a lot in getting familiar with the charas, their personalities and past.. =w=

Χμμ... Αφού το δω όλο θα κρίνω πόση ανάλυση επιδέχεται! Αλλά τουλάχιστον πάει καλύτερα μετά! Ωραία! Και ο Μίκι είναι την ίδια ηλικία με τους "άντρες" έτσι δεν είναι? *sigh*
Δεν νομίζω να είχε μπλε μαλλιά ο Ουέντα, ακόμα και αν έπαιζε σε live action Utena. Και τώρα μου ήρθε φλασία ο Γιου Σιρότα ως Τόγκα! Μουαχαχαχαχα!
