Ran Yu stared down at the bodies of his wife and young son. The Man suppressed a sob as he lit the funeral pyre, watching the ashes of his family float into the blood red sky.

Mewtwo teleported to the kitchen. The Legendaries had had an overnight party to celebrate the new arrivals from Isshu/Nova/New York/wherever and most of the Legends had gone home. He scanned the cabinets until he found his own and opened it. The psychic pushed the various brands of coffee aside and pulled out an Oreo box. In the dark he quietly began to eat.
"Mmm..."
That was when the light clicked on.
He turned in horror to see his girlfriend Deoxys. She was staring at him with a just plain surprised look on her face.
"Um..."
"I WAS NEVER HERE!"
And with that the cat like pokemon teleported away with his Oreos.

Toph sits in a mountain for a thousand years. She survives on berries and handmade tea and the occasional secret trip to the market. But mostly she stays alone as time becomes meaningless. She realizes that it is an illusion, as children and descendants of those children find her by mistake and she tells them her tales. Tales of a war long over, and of people long since turned to dust. Toph is perfectly happy in her mountain cave and it is there where she dies.
