And now for the usual Wednesday night cut thingy

I own a box company? )

Oh, and was it just me, or did Charlie say "hell" or "bloody hell" a hell of a lot of times in this episode? Seriously, every other sentence it seemed like.

It was not just you. I think he said it at least twice, maybe three times.

And do you have a job? Of course I would think less of you, you daftie.

LMAO. See, I knew it!!! The insurance world is tainted!!! haha

well, I have a job if I want it, I just have to go get my insurance liscense, which means a week long of boring classes and then an exam to sit through. I may have to travel a little bit if I want to get it before the first of April. We'll see. I haven't heard back from the job I went to the 2nd interview for...I was waiting on that before I took this other one.

LMAO! WOULDN'T! WOULDN'T! :massive facepalm:

Ooh, well, you should do it if you think it's what you want. It has to be better than what you're going through now, eh?

hehe, it couldn't be much worse. See, I know that I can make decent money if I really work hard, I just can't let myself get slack. My mom thinks I should give it a shot, my dad has been trying to get me to work in insurance for awhile now (he has to deal with those people on a daily basis and he's always been like, "Trust me, there is money to be made there," I just always ignored him). Bottom line is, I don't have a whole lot to loose, and you know, I really do want to give this a shot. I've been at my current job over a year now, and I'm making no more money than I started out with, even though I've been promised more for months now. I hate quiting though, cause I'm no good at it. But I've got to move on. {/"revolution"-type job rant}

hehe, I'm glad I wasn't the only one. Apparently in an earlier version of the pilot (I just was told this) he did snort it, but that wasn't shown on the one that most people saw. ABC needs to get with it. They'll show nearly naked American woman on Sunday night, but won't show hot British men snorting heroin on Wednesday nights. The networks have just gone to straight to hell, I tell you :)

Well, in the original pilot that got leaked in the summer, they pretty clearly did show him apparently snorting it.

And yeah... it seems Charlie irked a lot of people this episode, but I thought him going off on Hurley was pretty justified.

damn, how do I miss all these things! One would think if they spent as much time obsessing over fandom stuff as I do, they would know it all. But alas :)

The irky, annoying Charlie I find more funny than I do actually anoying. And he definitely had a presence on the screen tonight. Don't quite know how to describe it, but he definitely was an attention getter, more so than usual for me. It must be the lighting.....

Did you see the leaked version? They'd made the drug scene in the plane bathroom MUCH less explicit by the time the final cut actually got aired in September.

I think, too, that snorting is a drug-taking er, method, that most of the viewing public is instantly familiar with, even if not everyone's clear on which drugs are actually consumed which ways. And given that they can't really show him shooting up.

I'm pretty sure I didn't see the leaked version, cause I don't ever remember seeing him snort. Bah humbug. You know, sometimes I wish this was an HBO series...I mean, not that I want to hear all matter of profanities and see all sorts of explicit things, but I think it might be a little more true-to-life and hell, real life is quite explicit....

There's nothing wrong with working in insurance. I've held an insurance license before and it is an interesting profession.

YOU GO GIRL

PS I didn't find Charlie annoying in this ep. In fact I thought he was cool and I love how he runs. LOL

I LOVE HIS SPAZZY RUN TOO. And I like when Charlie gets pissy and yells at people.

and by "interesting" you mean....? :) yeah, hell, I'm going to give it a shot. The worst that can happen is I'll fall flat on my ass, which is a position I'm almost comfortable in by now.....

hehe, well, I know some people think insurance people are a little whacky, so I was just getting general opinion. But insurance people can usually make good money too, so I guess it's worth it to be a little whacky ;)

and whose jeans are those in your icon? Dan's and Emma's?...can't exactly tell...
