Annoying

I hate people. I don't know why it bothers me so, but somebody wore a cape to school today. Does "Goth" have no end? It used to be that goth was the alternative scene, now its so mainstream. Like people are paying just as much at hot topic if not more than at the GAP. I hate my generation, were a bunch a wieners and wusses. What ever happened ( Read more... )

Oh my god, a fucking cape? hahahaha! I strongly agree with your post by the way. Its like its a trend to be a goth. They follow the dress code right down to their underware. I do dress gothic but i try and avoid brand names such as "new rock"

I also hate my generation. Its horrid.

Mmmm goth chick underwear..... ;-)... When I was a goth back in the day, it meant getting the black clothes, instead of the plaid, from the salvation army. What's really sad is that the cape probably cost like 300+ dollars with the velvet lining.

goth chick underwear......nothing much too that! just black! black like the night! 300+dollars? fuck, christ. i get my stuff from American websites because it works out cheaper for me. Like i bought this dress for $60 and it only worked out at something like £35 or something.

dude.... I wanted to make my own cape for the longest time. and still consider it. but now I would make it out of something more sensible.

I have a velvet capelet. and its beautiful. its from the 30s. but thats different. and so would my other cape, because it wouldnt be a 'look how goth' I am cape.

at this point it would probably be grey wool with chartreause accents. like dangly balls and velvet ribbon.

it would totally be a 'Im so weird you dont even know where to classify me' cape.

which is a whole different kind of weird.

but the tradition in capitalist society is to buy and sell anonymous June 25 2005, 04:59:50 UTC
and people want to fit in with something, even if they're trying not to fit in with the horde.
i had a red velvet cape once. it was $60 and i wore it til it was shrunk and ratty. mostly cause i love red.
i agree it's too bad that the sellers subvert the look, but still little goth kids are so cute and you know they're pissing off their suburbanite parents even if their parents are paying for the stuff. that's gotta count a little teensy bit right?
