[This also reminds me that I need to catch up on my Disney viewing--haven't seen any of the newer animated movies, such as Tangled or The Princess and the Frog.][Warning to Crystal Rose: Ursula appears briefly around the 16:45 mark.]

Totally recommend Tangled! It's such a great one!!! Sill have yet to see The Princess and the Frog though...

I have no desire to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas. I remember seeing adds for it in the stores and it creeped me out to no end. I actually got night terrors from just seeing the commercials... *greatly shudders* Even still when I see clips of it I get the heebie-jeebies. :(

On a lighter note, I think it's funny seeing that all of the songs are from animated movies except for that one Mary Poppins song.

The actor who plays the male lead was in a favorite show of mine (Chuck), so I know I really should see Tangled.

Did you see Brother Bear? Did you like it?

Can I ask why you find it so creepy? The Nightmare Before Christmas is probably one of my favorite Disney movies, and it ties for first place with Hocus Pocus for best Halloween movie. :)

I actually prefer it that way, since I'm a lot more familiar with the animated movies than with the live-action movies. I haven't seen Mary Poppins or Bedknobs and Broomsticks in Ages, and I can't recall if I've ever seen Pete's Dragon. Those are just the movies I'm aware of. Do you have a favorite Disney live-action movie, and do you prefer Disney animated or Disney live-action?

I saw it once and it was a long time ago. Can't remember if I liked it or not, to be honest.

I don't know if I could explain why it creeps me out. It just does... I guess it's the look of it. My favorite movie is Arsenic and Old Lace for Halloween (I actually put quotes of it on my LJ when I changed it this week). For tv shows it'd be The Addams Family and The Munsters. I don't do horror so it's very limiting for Halloween movies.

Oooh, LOVE LOVE LOVE Bedknobs and Broomsticks!!! I have a bunch of live action movies that I like. I guess if I really had to choose it'd be a tie between the one I just mentioned and the original That Darn Cat (with Dean Jones and Halley Mills). I'm half and half on the animated and live-action for tops. Depends on my mood really.

I don't consider Hocus Pocus to be horror, it's family friendly. If you can, I would recommend watching it. I've never heard of Arsenic and Old Lace--what is it about? I do like The Addams Family and The Munsters though. You could also check out The Addams Family movies that were made in the nineties. Don't forget the TV show BeWitched either.

I can't remember the last time I've seen the original That Darn Cat, if ever, but I do like the remake.
