Yep, sounds about right. ^^ When I first started watching Kratts' Creatures as a kid, I learned more from the brothers than I did in class. XD So it's awesome that a new generation of kids will get to experience that, too. ^^

(And I'm still learning things from Be the Creature that I hadn't known before--like humans and chimpanzees are so closely related, that they can donate blood to each other. Hmmm, that has possibilities regarding an angsty fic surrounding Newkirk and Freddy, doesn't it?)

It is indeed. I don't remember too much about Zoboomafoo, unfortunately. However, I'm enjoying all the new things I'm learning while watching Be The Creature. :)

Really? That's interesting that they can donate blood to each other. Yes, it does sound like a weird, yet good idea between Newkirk and Freddy. Though, more on a tangent, now I'm wondering if, since Kinch and LeBeau are part-wolf in my AU, if they could get a blood transfusion from the German Shepherds, if need be?... *Ponders*

Yep. ^^ (And Wild Kratts, too-- I actually hadn't heard of Draco lizards until that ep with the fashionista stealing them. XD;)

Yep, I have a vague idea of London using Freddy as a courier again, but Freddy getting wounded (maybe by one of Hochstetter's Belgian shepherds) and losing a lot of blood. LeBeau passes out, natch, but Newkirk ends up saving Freddy... (the other way around would probably be too, too weird for readers. XD;)

I hadn't heard of Draco lizards either. I wonder if J. K. Rowling knew this though, because of her character Draco Malfoy, who lives in the Slytherin (snake-based) house?
I have recorded that episode, but haven't had the chance to see it yet. Or to finish the whale and squid episode, for that matter.

Actually, this way sounds weird also. Well, it's probably going to be weird no matter which way you write it. ;)

Hello there Marie! I'm Jennifer and I came across your LJ through our mutual friend dangelos_song.

I noticed while reading your profile that we have quite a bit in common. In fact I'm actually surprised we never became LJ friends like ages ago! Like you I too like the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, alan alda, animals, back to the future, the beach boys, the beatles, beauty and the beast, billy joel, cats, classic hollywood, disney cartoons, elvis, george harrison, herman's hermits, history, hogan's heroes, i dream of jeannie, john lennon, m*a*s*h, match game, the monkees, oldies music, star wars, and titanic. I'm sure there may be more but, if I listed everything we have in common I might write you a mini-novel. lol.

I always like meeting new friends who have so much in common with me and as I told dangelos_song I always love talking about classic/retro tv shows. =)

So, um I was just wondering if you'd like to be LJ friends? I hope you don't mind me adding you and do hope perhaps you'll add me back. Perhaps talk to you later! Bye!

Hello Jennifer. :)

It does seem like we have a lot in common. It's always nice to meet another fan of the classic oldies but goodies.

Well, you'll mostly find me talking about Hogan's Heroes or Match Game on here, but once in a while I do bring up other shows. For example, there's a post where I made about the trailer for the new Green Hornet movie. Have you seen it (either the show or the movie)?
