these questions really aren't historical or political. They are all about the government and how it functions. This is what every NYC kid learns in Government class.
well, anything with the government..it's been a while is all. :) Maybe shorter for you. ^_^ Well I counted at least 2 historical questions...the one about when a particular document was written and the one about the original 13 colonies. So, it isn't ALL about government directly....some stuff you have to know via American History classes.
Actually, alla these are pretty much standard citizenship test questions. I recall helping to drill my grandfather on the questions and marvelling at how much had to be covered. When it is said that successfully naturalized citizens generally know infinitely more about the civics of this country than native-borns, it isn't a joke.
