changing in a good way

I FEEL GREAT!

Wonder if it's because I turned 50 this year or it's just me getting fed up with the dye....

I'm letting my hair grow out naturally, all grey. I'm feeling quite good about it too!

I went to the beauty parlor last week and cut it as short as I could to get rid of the color and although I don't like being two toned the $250 price tag to ( Read more... )

I can dimly remember being 50. For a time I colored my beard, but I might have been in my 40s then. Finally, I did the same thing and just let it grow natural.

I remember a time when I was looking at hair replacement too, but at a starting cost of around $10K, I said au natural is for me.

LOL

I thought the same thing....They said there is no box dye for grey/silver, I had to bleach out the color first then put a toner on it. Even the people at Sally Beauty told me the same. So I had Becky put the blue cap on me last night and do blonde highlights for the top section where the color was and now we wait till it grows out.

I've been tempted to START dying my hair, but who am I fooling? I'm 52, almost 53. I'm supposed to have grey hair! It's the whole high-maintenance thing that's stopped me every time I've come close to making the decision to start dying it. Good for you, deciding to go back to your natural color! (And if you don't like it, of course, you can always change it again. :-) )
