1. In Theatres: "Phantom of the Opera". On DVD: "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" Two excellent musicals - one romantic, one camp.

2. "Uncle John Presents: Book of the Dumb", along with its sequel book. Nothing like cheap laughs at stupid people. (I'd recommend mrpuzuzu's books, but you are no doubt aware of them already.)

3. "Rockets and Robots", by The Phenomenauts. They're kind of a retro-punk version of Devo, if that makes any sense.

4. silentbob037 - My roommate, Richard. He writes well.

5. I usually vote for pizza in this situation, but that's because I'm pathetic. I will, however, vote for food from Pasta Pomodoro - delicious and reasonably priced.
