Things I'll miss about Perth #3: Pace of Life

The next installment of this series has been due for a while. But it's ironic that while I'm writing about the relaxed pace in Perth that I'll miss, recently, my life has been anything but. I haven't left work on time at all this week. And one day, I was there from practically sun up to sun down. I kid you not

"If anything work-related threatens family time, my colleagues would make sure that their displeasure is noted, and management will attempt to rectify the issue."

Really liked this sentence. And it is true!! Anyways, there are still ppl that do work past the usual hours .... namely the teachers, those who had to work during the extended hours blah blah. Seriously, extended hour is overrated, after 7pm, there are more staffs than shoppers.

Teaching is just one of those unfortunate professions where we'll never be able to not bring work home.
