Thief Skills in Basic D&D

This is relevant to my interests. The author briefly and concisely covers classic conundrums like why thieves are supposedly so bad at thief skills, what happens when a non-thief attempts to climb something, etc. Some of it I'd already found on my own, but some of it is new and useful

I'd be interested in playing. You know me. I love gaming. I may not like the system, but I'm always game to play (as evidenced by my involvement in two 5th Ed. games *sigh*).
My only problems are that I live in a different time zone, and I may get called away for baby duty.
