I decided I needed to be there for a friend on friday that was going through a breakup, instead of studying for my exam on monday.  I knew that it would be the only day I would get to study, but I thought I would be fine.  Well I failed my first exam.  Anything below a 76% in my class is failing and I got a 72% on this one.  I know I will do better ( Read more... )

awww.... I'm sorry hun!

since you have been rocking the rest of them, at least you know that the only reason you didn't rock this particular one was because you were being a good friend. Not because you were slacking.

agreed. This was not because you were slacking. The balance between life and school/work is a tricky one. I am sure that the person who needed it will always appriecate your time at THAT moment as in THAT moment, they needed you, and you were there.

The next test will be there for you to knock out of the park.

One of my fav movies right now is "Meet the Robinsons" and in it they talk about the fact that you don't learn much from success but you learn a lot from failure and that always to "keep moving forward".

Hugs and yes, you will rock out on the next one cause you've learned.

Ask to retest. It's not always possible, and sometimes it's just added into your average for the term, but it is worth a request.
