Oh but what's watching a match without the occational screaming at the lads? ;) I remember at least one moment today, when Poldi forgot to raise his head and crashed the ball against two English defenders right in front of England's area.
Oh Argentina will be harder, believe me *sighs and starts crossing all fingers and toes*
It was a great match!!! And believe it or not, I was quite relaxed for the entire game..I was so sure they would win. *g* But nonetheless I was squeeing and bouncing around like a mad. *lol* Next game will be very different from this one and far more difficult. Uh..oh..Argentina again..
The referees of both of today's matches were a joke. *shakes head*
To be honest I felt more nervous on the first half of the match against Ghana. I was for this one of course, but my limbs didn't go numb this time xD And I cheered all four goals like a looney *hides* I was worried later because my neighbours in the whole building might be thinking I'm nuts, but them I heard several shouts in the building and in the one at our side everytime Argentina scored so I stopped worrying ;o)
The worse thing about those mistakes today is that they come from the body of referees considered as the best ones so far. I have to say the body of refs because nowdays they are evaluated as a team... *shakes head*
YESSSS! :D I was pretty sure we would win because some things just don't happen. Like England winning against us in an important game without a freak accident like in 1966. Speaking of which.. revenge for the Wembley goal, hahaha! *evil cackle* XD And almost for the 1:5, too but I guess the highest defeat in a WC for England is will suffice. >:)
The refs, or rather the linesmen are.. I don't even know how to call them. I make horrible mistakes in almost every game. *shakes head*
And that pic! Our goalies and CB's always share the best huggles. &hears; With Per being the Master of The Group Hug.
Argentine will be very tough. I doubt we will go through but wouldn't be a shame to lose against a great side like them. *shrugs* Everyone but England. And Italy. *snerk* I can do without Spain for a while, too.

I make horrible mistakes in almost every game. *shakes head* I think the low level of the refs' work is competing with the one shown in Korea/Japan 2002... and that's a lot to say. And what hurts the game the most is the fact that today's mistakes came from two body of refs (arguebly)considered the best ones so far. Archundia (Uruguayan) probably won't whistle anymore in the rest of the tournament now because his linesman made that horrible mistake in hte Ger-Eng match. The same goes for Rosseti, because his linesman didn't call that obvious offside from Tevez. Of course, in both games the teams that won, won rightly because they were the better side. But those bad calls just dim the match. Now what would be the solution and prevent this kind of scenarios. A fourth ref on the field paying attention to the line of goal, maybe? It's been done in the UEFA cup, sorry, Euro League now

And what a game! I'm still in bl**dy awe ... there were some moments when I screamed at the lads but overall...
And like you, I am glad that we won higher than with the dubious 2:1. To me, we won 4:2.
Looking forward to Argentina! *is bouncy* (But it'll be a lot harder than today...) *biting nails already*
