I’ve been eyeing all sorts of fanfic memes as of late, though I’ve been shamefully bereft of participating in any. Still, better late than never and this one is ganked from the marvelous Threewalls, as are 99.9% of my ideas nowadays. ;)

A. His incredible loyalty to his friends and companions. Vaan is seriously the sort of of guy that would cheerfully hoof a few hundred miles for the sake of someone he loves-- and boy, it's not hard for him to learn to love you either. ;) Vaan has a very big heart to compensate for his very small brain, which is a fair enough trade-off if you ask me.
B. But by god is the boy sometimes obtuse. Not to mention silly, tactless, unrealistic, sometimes balls-out idiotic... I don't necessarily see him as completely stupid-- in fact, I'm fond of thinking he's much shrewder than most people believe-- see the way he busted into the Dalmascan palace for treasure. But he's got quite a ways to go to become the sky pirate he wants to be ( ... )

And as for that accent, well, I'll get him to talk to you sometime. It's not as bad as some accents, I have to say, but then again, I'm used to hearing it!

Neji
A. If it's not incredibly shallow of me... can I point out the hair? ;) Because damn it's shiny and purty and full of bishounen love and wonder. But if not... can I just say how amazingly sexy I find his competence and his justifiable arrogance at being a ninja? Aptitude if very cool and Neji has that in spades... even if it was ridiculous amounts of fun seeing him humbled by Naruto!
B. But that arrogance by itself... yeah, not so much. And I worry about Neji's peculiar brand of high/low self esteem and his lingering rage issues with the main house. Did learning about his father's sacrifice really work it all out? (I'm talking realistically, not just in Kishi's mind...)
C. Gee... do I tend to pair Neji up with anybody? Who ever could that be? ;)
D. Though he'd suffer the masculine death of a thousand deaths if anyone ever found out, Neji secretly puts coconut oil on his scalp to keep his hair so shiny. It's the secret to the #1 coiffure in Konoha!

A. She. Never. Gives. Up. Putrify her. Waste her. Kill her. Drop her in battery acid. And still her ashes will probably rise up to try and defeat you. Next to Naruto, she's one of the most tenacious peole in the canon.
B. Well... I find even her crippling shyness oddly endearing, especially since it's such a noticeable and human flaw. But I really do wish she'd eventually tell Naruto about her crush. I just want some resolution to that story line, damn it all ( ... )

I don't really know about any challenges...I'm so bad at them myself. :( I know aboslutely nothing about tarot, so I'm looking some stuff up to see if I could manage one of those arcana prompts....
