Back In Traction

Y'know what? Life is pretty damn good now. I'm in Chicago, I just passed a wonderful day outside in the unseasonably lovely weather with astrangerenters, digitaltart, lindensphinx and newredshoes by my side, I'm getting along perfectly well with my husband (as arranged marriage couples go, we're thankfully more Ashe/Rasler than Ovelia/Delita!) and life is generally peachy keen for me. So consider ( Read more... )

Hello again. Great to hear everything's going so well! :D

#4. Oh, SO #4. Just because of the (very well-spotted) politeness thing. That will be fun...to write or to read.

(EEEP. So need to do something for ffxii_arcana. Majorly doubting self.)

I'm getting a growing soft spot for Vaan...#1 will be interesting. If I catch you on AIM (when our timezones align and all seven planets reach a point of mystic concurrence) I'd be happy to chat about it. Starting to think he deserves some more love.

(Someone just said 'crazy eyes' on TV. Heheh)

Trust me, I'm glad to be able to report that almost all (besides a few terrors that came from bad spinach for dinner tonight...) is going well in my life. It's a very nice change from the miserable first few weeks of marriage I went through at my in-laws. DX ( ... )

I will talk to you more on AIM, as I have to jet off to work, but.

I'm so glad to hear the marriage is going well, the thought of Basch/Lupin literally made me squeal out loud (although fucked-up Vayne - Gabranth - Larsa is always good), and your Christmasbirthdaywedding present ended up exploding on me and getting obscenely long so it is extraordinary late because I suck. Ahem.

It's wonderful to have you back, dear.

Oh, I would love to catch up with you on AIM and dig around your mind a bit. It's always a fountain of wondrous ideas, after all. ;)

And heee, the Basch/Lupin is going to be so much fun-- if only I have the time to get around to it! (I've got about 2 more weeks till school begins-- pray for me.) The Vayne stuff is top priority now, because he's eating my brains... but we'll see what happens.

And! And! How ever could I protest the idea of longer fic from you, honestly? ;) I am all but clapping my hands in glee and can't wait to see it, never mind how long it might take. Good things come to those who wait, right?

Oh! And since you asked about the extremely fucked up Vayne-Gabranth-Larsa fic, it's been posted up as The Teeth of Serpents. Apparently, I suffer from a dreadfully inability to write a Vayne who: a) doesn't idealize and love his younger brother desperately and b) can justify doing godawful things for his brother's sake. And I think you'll really enjoy (if that's the verb to use!) this one, oddly enough... ;)

^_^ Thank you for putting me on your list, teehee. Feel free to come to me for help if you need someone to talk you through Vaan/Ashe. I know it's not your cup of tea, so I can understand if writing them might be a new challenge for you. I'm glad your wedding went well, and I hope your marriage has the love that Ashe and Rasler had, without the sad ending. D=

Ooh, I think I have a pretty interesting framework for the V/A story already... but I have to warn you, it's not a wholly happy story. Or even a very happy one! It's going to end up being all sad and tragic and wistful and what have you... though I will promise you that at least Vaan will get some lovin' during the course of it. So it's not all darkness and despair, yeah? ;)

Awww... Poor Vaan, he gets no luck in love... D= But regardless of that sad aspect, I still can't wait to see this story of yours. :) There really needs to be more well-written Vaan x Ashe fics... ^^0 Please feel free to contact me if you ever need an ear, or a wall to bounce ideas off of. :)

I will do my best, darling. Perhaps by the end of the week, if visiting more of my husband's relatives doesn't kill all my free time...?

I would personally love to see five and three. ^^

Glad things are going okay with your husband, dear.

And yes, I misshed you! (glomps)

Trust me-- at least one of those two will be written for you, since I know I still owe you sexy Solidor machinations as the prize for guessing the true storyline behind Imprint. ;) I just hope you enjoy what's coming up!

And yes, I've missed you too! I know we've still got a phone date to confirm though... it's a little hard to work around my husband, however. I mean, he comes home only at night so that's pretty much the only time we can hang out with each other. But I'll try to sneak in a phone call sometime soon...

Yei! (dances)

We'll work it out somehow. We're further on hold until I can actually function at a decent level again (right now, it's pretty much go to classes, come back to my room, and pass out; bloody lyme's disease/strep/CMV virus which I've never heard of!).

Awwwwww, I'm so sorry to hear you're still sick! I had hoped you would have recovered by now. :( Still, when we can, we must definitely talk. It'd be sad to give up the hope of that now, no? ;)

Even with all the Solidor talk yesterday, Basch/Lupin sounds awesome. As long as he doesn't transform into a werewolf, yikes! I can see Basch going "WTF?!" at that.

We-hell, Basch has presumably already dealt with Larsa being all hormonal and neurotic and Ashe being all teenaged and vengeful and Vossler being all... well. Just Vossler being Vossler. Do you really think something as mundane as lycanthropy would really throw him around for a loop? ;)
