*squishes* This is a wonderful ending to a wonderful series, happy and tragic and bittersweet and hopeful and simply beautiful.

If I don't talk to you again before January, I wish you health, wealth, and happiness, in the grand fairytale tradition, and a minimum of poison, against said tradition. ♥ Good luck.

Also! If I were to write you a wedding present, what kind of present would you like the most?

::blush!:: You are too kind! And... um... ::gives you woobie eyes:: Mayhap something that expands on that Penelo-goes-to-Hogwarts drabble you wrote for me once before? That rocked my socks and then some!

Oh, I am so glad you liked this since you're one of the first readers I had for this series. I'm glad you think this ended well. ♥

And thank you so much for all the well wishes! I'll be sure to let you know if any poison apples come my way son enough. ;)

The internal sections of this are some of the best things I've seen you write, and they're glorious. I love what you've done with Larsa here. The balance between childhood and Empire, and his efforts to deal with it. How Penelo tempers that, tempers him. I like how it's not easy between them, but it is very right.

I'm not half as much a Larsa/Penelo shipper as you, but I'll buy this Larsa and this Penelo being perfect for one another.

And best of luck with your wedding. *many hugs*

Hee, I'm pretty sure there isn't any other person in the world who likes this couple-- or at least writes for them-- quite as much as I do. ;) And I'm so glad you enjoyed the middle part of this story so much-- I personally ended up liking it far more that the extremely tetchy beginning and ending pieces myself.

And I think this pretty much sums up just why I like Larsa and Penelo together (and sketches out a few things that'll be expanded in future work as well.) I don't think they're a perfect couple-- if only because that would be hideously boring to both read and write-- but they're good for each other, especially given the difficult situations they end up in their lives.

Thank you so much for all the support, hon! ::hugs::

OMG, thank you thank you thank you so much! Whatever else I was looking forward to, this is a wonderful surprise and probably the sweetest and most unexpected thing someone's given me for my birthday/wedding/whatever! Oh, both Larsa and Penelo look so sweet and adorable there. Is it okay for me to put a link to this up at the UOE main page?

Thank you so so so very much for being kind enough to commission this for me! It is not a cheat by any means whatsoever! ♥ ♥ ♥

And wrapping up the series made me weirdly happy and weirdly sad at the same time too. I was happy because... well, it's nice to finally figure out a way to end something as colossal as this series and find a way to wrap everything up nicely. But sad because when you sink so much of your time into something, putting it to its end is weirdly emotional as well. But que sera sera... what must happen, must happen.

And thank you so much for the best wishes! ♥

You are very welcome :D And glad you liked it, I admit I was really reluctant and kind of nervous about giving it to you as a gift. I mean, if it were my own work, I wouldn't hesitate >.> Still, after reading that final story, I really thought that it was rather fitting, in some way. And well, it would really go to waste if you didn't see it :)

Of course you can! :D But just in case, you should add an extra caption below to credit the original artist :) Her screen name is jeii-chan, and that's the name that she goes by on dA too. Also, here's the picture with better resolution.

Hehe, how I wish there will be the day that I can say these words about my own fics XD Still, it's nice to finally put it to rest after so long, and of course, you'll feel somewhat melancholy about it. After all, you've put so much effort and time into it :) Hmm, will you still be adding some side stories and drabbles to fill up the blanks occassionally?

Darling, this was a fabulous gift and it fit this story-- and the series as a whole, actually!-- to a tee. How ever could I turn anything so fabulous down! And I promise to give both credit to you and the wonderful artist as well. Thanks so much for the higher res pic! ♥

I look forward to the day you can say those words about your fic as well! XD And for better or worse, I'm done with the Uses of Enchantment series and am going to focus on other projects. There's Knots, of course, and I think I'll be trying a few challenge comms and individual fics about the Solidor brothers as well. We'll see what the new year brings, though, right?

I'm speechless. (And kind of illiterate in the wake of that!)

Hopeful. So much hope. Hallelujah.

4. 8. 11. Oh 11. 18. (Picturing that expression).

And so different from your other writing, and so skillful, with setting as well as thought and image, and it's easy to read, and unbearably believable. This is real, and this is friendship, and this is love (not at-first-sight but with effort and belief and work and poetry).

I hope you have a ball at your wedding, and best wishes for the marriage to follow.

Speechlessness is the best compliment possible now! ;)

And I'm so glad the hope and the hallelujah of this piece really came forward. Writing this was definitely different from most of the other pieces in the series-- far more melancholy, far more bitter-sweet than was usual-- but it's hard to tackle the time Larsa had immediately after his brother's defeat without striking that tone. It was a bit of a gamble but I think it's one that paid off and I'm so glad it felt real to you. That was just what I was aiming for here.

Thank you so much for the best wishes, darling! ♥

What a sweet ending. :) I really hope that Penelo won't leave... I want her to stay with Larsa! Marry him and give him lots of little Solidors! D: Well... only time will tell what becomes of them. I want to wish you good luck on your wedding, and I hope that you will grow to love your husband, if you don't already. ^^ Enjoy the holidays and don't forget to come back to LJ-land once in a while to keep us updated about your new life... :) Miss ya, hun...

I'm glad you liked this ending-- I thought it would fit the entire series best. ;) And I promise, Larsa and Penelo certainly do get a happy ending in this series, though whether they get one in a few other things that I write might be something to doubt! ;)

And I could never stay away from LJ forever! I'll probably be blogging about the wedding and everything that came after it soon enough during my honey-moon. But thank you so much for the wishes, sweetheart! ♥
