So, my net died yesterday. Just what I needed though I spent most of the time learning how to use Photoshop instead of rping/browsing/etc

Sounds like a day filled with Angst.

I practically had the very same problems myself a couple of weeks ago....
It simply sucks.

I hope it will keep working from now on ...
Calling a provider rarely helps ... I wonder what they are supposed to be good for ...

I have the newest type of their modem and still have problems from time to time. Like dead connection for 12-24 hours. I like small providers, like the one we have net from back at home. (on a side note- we just got that one upgraded 2 days ago. Internet in bed ftw).
