Do you ever get days where you can't stop thinking about a certain word or phrase for no apparent reason? I don't mean actively thinking about its meaning, I mean it just keeps popping into your head.

For the past week I have suffered this. I can't stop randomly thinking the word miasma.

It's getting kind of annoying.

I didn't know that! I like it, not because of him though :p.

I've been writing about it a lot lately I guess. It was originally a Greek concept involving leaving bodies unburied for too long [it means pollution] and developed into the theory of disease from there.

Ooh, I love the origin of the word!

Lolz. Though I've just realised I'm commenting to someone who knows all that. Ah well, non-historians/arc'anthers might find it interesting!

Even before it happened to me, I had zero respect for people so spineless that they couldn't break up with you face to face. The guy who did it to me was a complete piece of shit.

I get that. Usually the word "lettuce" sticks in my mind.

lettuce
lettuce
lettuce

...lost all meaning

Hehehe. You know those posters on the tube that say "going"?

I keep reading them as "g-oi-ng" as opposed to "go-ing" the further down the escalators I go :\.

I get that too! Songs are perhaps a lot more annoying than just words as well :(
