My mom wasn't sick... for a few days she'd had pain in both arms. Today she went in for a stress test even though her dr had seen her and didn't think it was anything to do with her heart. She couldn't complete the stress test - she was a smoker and out of shape and got too breathless. They sent her for an angiogram. It wasn't an emergency, they ( Read more... )

I don't really know what I can say which hasn't already been said, but I truly am sorry, Maria. I can't even fathom the pain you must be in right now.

Oh Maria, I am so sorry. Even though LJ can be impersonal and difficult you do have friends here. We can't do much physically but we are here for you if you ever need to vent.

Maria, I'm stunned, I really am. I can't imagine what you must be going through, to lose a parent, especially when you had such a close relationship. As you say, it's not as if she was actually ill, so it comes out of the blue.

I really hope you'll be ok, though I know that must seem a long way away at the moment. *hugs* x 1,000
