Sadly, it was not to be.
My heart and soul left us yesterday.
Breathing became too difficult and painful
And we honored his wishes and let him go.
My daughter and I are heartbroken and in a bit of a haze because it
Doesn't seem real yet.

Sadly my husband's struggles became too great and he passed away on Monday. Still reeling from the shock.

These last two days have been horrific. We had so much hope on the days he seemed to improve, and then suddenly everything went wrong and the lung inflammation made it too painful and impossible to breathe.

It hasn't completely sunk in yet, living in a bit of a haze.

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband, Mari. I can't even begin to fathom what you and your daughter are going through. I wish there was something I could say or do to make things even a little better for you both, but I know only time, love and the Grace of God can heal your broken hearts.

So, the only thing I can do is let you know that I'm thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers.
