He is always strong and brave and wise and fair, and there has never been a time that Merlin has underestimated his king. But now, seeing Arthur like this, everything is changed.

Like this, Arthur is vulnerable. It turns Merlin on to see him so out of control, so wild. There is nothing Merlin wouldn't do for him in this moment except leave. Please, he thinks, don't make me leave.It is inevitable that Arthur will realise he's not alone. It takes five minutes though.
