I loved The Help last year. I'm glad you like Half the Sky -- thinking of picking that one up soon.

Both of those were great - although in different ways, of course. I think I said this in the review, but I really liked that Half the Sky gave realistic ways that we can improve on the issues they described. It made the book feel useful and hopeful, rather than just really depressing - which it could have been, if it just described all the terrible things that are still happening in the world.
