Title: Land of Black Gold.
Author: Hergé.
Genre: Fiction, graphic novel, humour, adventure, mystery.
Country: Belgium.
Language: French.
Publication Date: 1948-1950.
Summary: Car engines have started spontaneously exploding all over the country - someone's been tampering with the oil! Tintin, with Thompson and Thompson at his side, sails on an oil tanker to the Middle East to track down the source of the faulty oil.

My rating: 7/10.
My preview: There is definitely no denying the dark relevance of this book. It's especially depressing that 70 years since its publication, the subject matter remains equally, if not more, relevant today.
