Igor Tracz, European champion of sled dog racing, left Poland on Wednesday morning and returned home on Thursday, after midnight, with 12 dogs and 6 Ukrainian children. He and his team have made it their mission to rescue dogs from shelters in Ukraine and transport them to safety.
