  1. Mom actually came over and helped clean out more of the old food \o/
  2. Finally got to watch the new Fairy Tale eps
  3. New air filter, hopefully that will help with the allergies

So I actually was brave enough to make a dermatologist appt for my cysts. I was hoping I could finally get insurance first, but one of them hurts so much it's hard to walk and sit ( Read more... )

*cough* defrosted my freezer at the w/e. 'What, 2010? I'm sure it hasn't been in there that long. Pretty sure...'

Reading about privatized health care is pretty scary. Since basically our formerly socialized system in the UK is being sold off for profit piece by piece, with continuous denial from politicians as the burglars sneak off with the family silver right in front of the eyes of the populace...

Best wishes for that doc's appointment. *wince*. Doesn't sound fun.

LOL, yeah, the freezer is the next thing we need to tackle. I guess I wouldn't mind it so much if it was *my* old food, right? but it's not.

Privatized health care is indeed really scary. I paid about 15 quid for cheap NHS glasses - the ones I got here *with* our bullshit insurance were 300 dollars and the ones I paid completely out of pocket for were 600 dollars all told, no lie. *sigh*

Thanks. It's not going to be fun, but as long as I stop hurting, I'll be okay.

I don't think that appointment will cost you less than $100 without insurance and the doc will likely prescribe some meds too.
