so i am currently sitting in my NEW living room. mike and steve spackled, painted, put up molding and did the electrical work and it's awesome.  I got a color called burnt almond on the walls, white ceiliing....it's pretty spectacular!  Today we're going to look for new furniture.  we decided against the 61" dlp tv and are probably getting a 52"

that table is NICE! I think with furniture like that, you might want to pay extra because it will last a long time. My mom paid about 550 for my dresser but it's taken a lot of beatings. Our cheap furniture is falling apart.

What about an entertainment center that you can put the TV up on? They had an awesome one at crate and barrel that had sneaky DVD storage and storage underneath the unit.

i am in love with that table!! mike said he might try to build it now, or something similar. i just like the idea of a square trunk table, like off a pirate ship!

we bought the tv today, got a good deal! and we ended up getting this for the tv: http://www.mybobs.com/Tahoe_Tvc.aspx

and we're gonna get end tables with storage, storage ottomans and just put all the other shit behind the couch. problem solved.
